Perhaps my next 364 Days will be Better
I started the New Year off being sick. That statement is followed by the 4-letter S word that I tend to shout out when the computer crashes or Pepper eats my favorite slipper. I have a slight fever and a throat that feels like Darth Vader is sucking it dry.
Dookie, Dookie, Dookie!
Who out there has seen the movie “Sordid Lives?” A very funny movie but it can also be offensive to some people. I don’t offend easily so I loved it. I wonder if I can find it on Netflix. I need to get my mind off my body.
OK. My brain is not working either. I can’t write two connected sentences. So it’s time to sign off and hit the bed again. Oh but I have to walk Pepper first. S!
Bean’s Pat: Alex Autin http://tinyurl.com/bk24vkb Fantastic, “out-of-this-world” blog by one of my favorite bloggers. She helped me forget for a while that I was sick.
Oh, Pat, I hope you feel better soon. Being sick doesn’t just have physical symptoms but it sucks your energy right down the drain. I know that nothing lasts forever but sometimes it sure feels like it will. BTW, I love that photo, very dramatic, beatiful. The next 364 days will be better, fershure. That pic is a promise.
Thanks Sam. Looking for the next 363 days, since today is no better.
Well, as Annie sang on Broadway, “There’s always tomorrow..you’re only a day away.” LOL
It’s tomorrow and I’m still sick. S!
No, it’s today; tomorrow is tomorrow! LOL Be well soon!
Hugs, Pat! Get to feelin’ better!
Thanks Jim.
Hope you’re on the mend, Pat. Take care and I loved Sordid Lives, too!
Get well soon, Pat! I ended the year with brochitis which I hope you do not have.
Loved the picture on this blog too.
Not sure what I have but my daughter’s family all have it too.
Hope you feel better soon.
Thanks, me too.
Thanks so much for the mention Pat, it’s much appreciated! I hope you feel better soon…and I love your American Sunrise!!
Thanks Alex. I was focused on the sky and it wasn’t until after I had taken the picture that I saw the American flag.
Feel better soon! Lots of rest and fluids, and all of that.
I started the New Year off with a case of food poisoning (and no, that is not euphemism for a hangover). I told myself it was “cleansing,” setting the stage for a year of getting rid of baggage and bad habits. Hopefully yours will then be a year of rest and taking good care of yourself… and good, cleansing bouts of cursing as needed. 😀
Thanks Evie. I’ve been blessed that I rarely have gotten sick, but when I do I always get angry and try to deny that I’m sick. It’s not working this time. I’m going to the doctor today. Interesting about the year of rest because I do think my body needs it after a hectic year of travel. Thanks again for your kind words.
I hope you’re feeling better by now, Pat. That is a gorgeous sunrise to start the day. 🙂
Beautiful photograph!
Thanks Sharon.
Thanks Robin. I’m finally feeling better after a setback with a sprained ankle, which is now in a brace. I’ve had my three bad things so I expect the rest of the year to be wonderful.
