Butterflies
“To photograph is to hold one’s breath, when all faculties converge to capture fleeting reality. It’s at that precise moment that mastering an image becomes a great physical and intellectual joy.” — Henri Carier-Bresson

One has only fleeting seconds to capture the image of a butterfly before it is off to the next flower. — Photo by Pat Bean
“The best thing about dreams is that fleeting moment, when you are between asleep and awake, when you don’t know the difference between reality and fantasy, when for just that one moment you feel with your entire soul that the dream is reality, and it really happened.” — Unknown
Beautiful:)
Thanks
Greta pictures and as always, great quotes.
Jim
Greta? Great of course. I never yet managed to capture a Butterfly in pictures. I tried as well to get pictures of a Humming Moth that visits our garden, never yet. Oh well.
Jim
Keep trying. You’ll get that picture yet. Thanks, meanwhile, for the kind words.
These are beautiful, Pat. 🙂
Amazing. The only time I was able to take a pic of a butterfly was when I was inside a Butterfly Center filled with thousands of them…LOL
Take care,
Joni
I chased around a backyard for about an hour to capture these two photogrpahs. The butterflies were certainly “fleeting.” Thanks Joni.
Beautiful butterflies captured during their magical, fleeting moment. Isn’t it great that we have cameras now that capture wonderful moments in life? Thanks for sharing…have a blessed day!
Thanks Island Traveler. Smart cameras — and the web to share the pictures. Life’s pretty good.
Lovely!
