“Every day that is born into the world comes like a burst of music and rings the whole day through, and you make of it a dance, a dirge, or a life march, as you will.” — Thomas Carlyle
This day cacti are blooming in Arizonia
And Bluebonnets color Texas’ roadsides
“If you’ve never been thrilled to the very edges of your soul by a flower in spring bloom, maybe your soul has never been in bloom.” — Audra Foveo
Some years, the cactus flowers are gorgeous around here. Last year wasn’t so good. This year we’ll see. Our elevation is higher than Tucson.
It’s a long wait for cacti to flower, but when they do, they are spectacular – well worth waiting for!
What are those flowers in the photo at Goose Island State Park? I’d love to run though them barefoot!
Bluebonnets
Woohoo for Texas Buebonnets!
Hope you have a great weekend Pat 😀
Yup. It doesn’t get much better than coming across a field of blooming bluebonnets. You to, Alex, re weekend coming up. I’m off to the rodeo with grandsons this evening.
