I locked my keys in a rental car in Bar Harbor. Went on whale watching. Got drenched (drought broke that day). Nearly froze waiting for AAA to send help. What I did on my summer vacation.
Just about any place along the coastline of Maine is a favorite place for me.
Hi,
What a lovely photo, I would love to just go and sit there and watch the world go by. 🙂
Thanks for commenting, and thank for subscribing to my blog. I hope you enjoy the journey.
Nice photo. Bar Harbor, Maine and Acadia National Park are two of my favorite places I’ve visited as well. It’s been years since I’ve visited Bar Harbor, but your photo stirs up fond memories. Is this a recent photo?
LOVE BAR HARBOR ! Especially lobster at Thurston’s. Hope to be there again this summer.
I live in NH, so Bar Harbor isn’t too far away from me. It is the epitome of New England.
The coast of Maine is a national treasure. Twenty-five years ago I cruised the coast in a small cabin cruiser for two weeks with friends. Stopping at little fishing villages, hardscrabble towns, sampling the local fare, all still vivid among the highlight adventures of my life.
Sounds like a marvelous trip Al, and that like me you’ve always had wanderlust in your soul. Thanks for stopping by.
Maine is one of my favorite vacation destinations. I visited once with my parents when I was in junior high and again with my husband the summer prior to starting a family. It is absolutely beautiful.
I hope you get a chance to visit again. Thanks for commenting Kate.
